The South Carolina Safe Home Grant Program partnered with JR Yarnall of Middle Branch LLC to produce a series of educational videos explaining key home‑mitigation retrofits that help reduce damage from hurricanes and severe storms. In 2020, during the COVID‑19 pandemic, Mr. Yarnall and his partners generously donated complete roof retrofits to three Lowcountry front‑line workers in need of new roofs. Each project was completed to meet both SC Safe Home requirements and the IBHS FORTIFIED Roof standard.
