[ARCHIVED] Storm Readiness Expo Canceled

The South Carolina Department of Insurance Encourages

South Carolinians to be Storm Ready

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Due to the very serious threat that hurricane Florence brings, the South Carolina Department of Insurance has decided to postpone the Storm Readiness Expo that was scheduled for Saturday, September 15 at the West Ashley Home Depot in Charleston. A new date has not yet been set.

It is the Department’s desire to devote full attention and manpower to helping citizens prepare and recover from the damage that our state will sustain from this storm. For more information about how to prepare and evacuate, you can check out our Hurricane Preparedness page on our website, SCDOI.sc.gov.

The SCDOI will provide up-to-date hurricane information as it becomes available on our Facebook and Twitter (@SCDOI) profiles.
