This notice is to inform all South Carolina workers’ compensation insurers that they are required to file updated loss cost multipliers (LCMs) by April 1, 2018, to take effect no later than August 1, 2018. This action is required so that rates may be adjusted to properly reflect the reduction in costs brought about by the cessation of South Carolina’s Second Injury Fund (SIF) assessments.
