Registering and Scheduling Exams

Register, pay the exam fee and schedule an appointment directly with PSI Services LLC.  All of this can be done online in just one easy step by visiting the PSI website at www.psiexams.com.   On the PSI homepage click on Government/State Licensing Agencies, select the state of South Carolina on the Select Jurisdiction page and then select SC Insurance on the Select Account page.    On the next page a list of exams will be displayed.    Click on the exam name and you will be taken to a page to download a Candidate Information Bulletin, sign in or create an account, obtain a list of test centers and FAQ’s on Registration.

Before taking the examination, view the Examination Tutorial that is located on PSI’s home page.  Scroll to the bottom of the home page and on the right side click on the link to view the PSI Examination Tutorial.

After you fulfill your exam requirements, apply online at https://online.doi.sc.gov or submit your application for licensure to the Department.  Passing an exam does not guarantee that you will be issued a license.  If you take an exam unnecessarily or are found unqualified, neither the exam fee nor the license processing fee will be refunded.
